Abstract

One of the major problems emerging in this research is the particular and detached communication established almost immediately and implicitly in the social contract concluded between the doctor (D) and his/her counterpart: the patient (P). Almost as if D, to be a good D, should show how superior he is, with respect to the lower reality of the disease. In this order of ideas; D should act as a superior being, that elevates himself/herself to an almost sacred level, where it is quite difficult to contact P. It is precisely in this space between the lines where I’ll be digging to find What is it that an artist can offer in order to dignify the d + p = communicative dilemma (d + p = dc), and transform it into one communicative system rather than the existing dilemma.
