¿Retorno de lo divino? El neopaganismo como una forma y manifestación de nihilismo.

Abstract

El presente artículo investiga el posible diagnóstico del tiempo actual como una era neopagana y, como tal, las implicaciones que esto tendría para la identidad cristiana de Europa. Frente al declive moral de las sociedades occidentales, el movimiento político impulsado por la nueva derecha (ND) pretende recuperar la “verdadera” raíz de la identidad europea antes de la “fatídica” colonización del continente por el cristianismo. A través del método hermenéutico-clásico se establece un diálogo con los intérpretes del pasado y del presente para mostrar qué representaría la nueva identidad europea si se permite el avance de la descristianización.

This article investigates the possible diagnosis of the present time as a neopagan era and, as such, the implications this would have for the christian identity of Europe. In front of the moral decline of western societies, the political movement promoted by the New Right seeks to rediscover the “true” root of the european identity before the “fateful” colonization of the continent by Christianity. Through the hermeneutical-classical method, the authors dialogue with interpreters of the past and present in order to show their conclusions about what would represent the new european identity if the advance of de-Christianization is allowed.
