Conjunción entre arte y ciencia. Una oportunidad para exaltar la cultura.

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo identificar, por medio de la conjunción entre arte y ciencia, las experiencias y oportunidades que se pueden presentar en el sector cultural colombiano. A lo largo de la historia reciente se ha visto a la ciencia y su método como la punta y el eje del conocimiento, dejando de lado campos como las artes y la concepción subjetiva de la realidad que de ellas emanan. Pero, en la actualidad, se ha visto el surgimiento de espacios que permiten borrar las fronteras existentes entre los campos del arte y la ciencia. De esta forma se ha logrado que los artistas participen y conozcan de una manera colaborativa sobre los estudios científicos. Así, cada vez es más común que arte y ciencia encuentren puntos de convergencia y, con ello, el fortalecimiento del quehacer del artista.

This article aims to identify the experiences and opportunities that can be presented in the Colombian cultural sector thanks to the conjunction between art and science. Throughout recent history, science and its method have been seen as the center point and axis of knowledge, leaving to a lesser extent other fields such as the arts and its subjective conception of reality. But nowadays we have seen the emergence of spaces that make it possible to erase the existing borders between the fields of art and science, making it possible for artists to participate and learn about scientific studies in a collaborative way, so that from this, they can be expressed with the characteristic qualities of artistic endeavor, thus strengthening the artist’s work as the axis of knowledge.
